Before IntelligenceBank, we spent wasted hours searching for materials. No-one knew where to go to find what they needed, and [we] weren’t confident that what they were using was still valid.

Overview
Since 1976, Community Transit has been the public transit authority for Snohomish County, Washington, utilizing bus, vanpool and paratransit services. With over 220 buses, 54 paratransit vehicles and over 400 vanpools, Community Transit’s growth has allowed them to expand their reach and help more people in the community.
With this dramatic growth, Community Transit found themselves needing a solution to help their expanding teams access the correct assets easily and with confidence.
In 2020, Community Transit chose IntelligenceBank as its provider for Digital Asset Management (DAM), Brand Portal and Creative Templates. This relationship has helped them streamline their processes and manage their growth.
The Challenge
Prior to deploying IntelligenceBank, Community Transits’ creative assets and materials were spread across multiple files folders and servers, making it hard to find exactly what they needed. There was no-one stop go-to location.
Because their assets were in disarray, Community Transit began identifying outdated assets that were being shared, leaving the public open to incorrect information and the brand fragmented. They also struggled with version control confusion when both creating and launching material.
The Solution
With the adoption of IntelligenceBank’s DAM, Brand Portal and Creative Templates, Community Transit was able to ease the strain on their Creative Services team and streamline their process.
The priority was to create a single location for all assets – particularly one that was sorted and searchable. Approved creative files were consolidated in a central DAM platform to serve as the central source of truth. This ended the endless hunt for assets as well as the stress around the uncertainty usage status.
Importantly, the DAM also allows approved stakeholders to self-serve, which alleviates time delays and distraction for both the requester and the Creative Services department.
Along with the DAM, Community Transit set up an online brand portal to better organize and educate their employees about their brand values, as well as functional information around logo usage etc. Where items like logos and graphics once were stand-alone downloadable assets with no usage guidelines, they are now grouped together within a broader set of instructions and available 24/7.
Another key part of the solution revolved around relieving the Creative Services team from being bogged down with requests for simple changes to frequently used assets. Community Transit deployed a set of approved artwork templates that allowed various elements such as headlines and body copy to be updated. This not only reduced requests for minor changes to existing assets, it sped up time to market and ensured brand standards were followed.
The Results
Since implementing IntelligenceBank’s DAM, Brand Portal, and Creative Templates, Community Transit has realized significant improvements in workflow and efficiency. The Creative Services team is no longer overwhelmed with routine asset requests, allowing them to focus on higher-priority projects. By centralizing their assets in one accessible platform, the team has drastically reduced time spent searching for outdated or misplaced materials.
The self-service capabilities of IntelligenceBank have empowered staff to customize assets and use brand-approved templates directly, reducing unnecessary emails and streamlining the process. Additionally, the platform’s flexibility and customization features allow the team to continuously expand the range of accessible tools, ensuring long-term scalability as Community Transit grows. Overall, the implementation has resulted in a more agile and unified creative process, helping Community Transit meet its increasing demands with fewer resources.
