Utah Valley University (UVU) launched the second phase of a multi-year branding initiative to bolster the university’s image as a progressive, student-centric institution. The aim of the brand initiative, “A Place For You,” was to boost enrollment, reinforce UVU’s role as a major contributor to the State’s workforce, assure policymakers that they were meeting their mission goals, and build bridges with potential donors.
The campaign, called “A Place for You,” echoes UVU’s aspiration to be an inclusive campus, where—as an open admissions university—they welcome all students and promise to help them pursue their dreams. The campaign’s messaging pillars focused on Student Potential, Flexible Relevant Approach and High Return on Investment and included campus environmental installs, ads on buses and light rail trains, social content – including video stories, an aligned annual report, web presence, digital billboards and billboards.
The initiative drove impressive growth in enrollment, reputation score, advocacy willingness, student retention, web traffic, social engagement and fundraising.
