Summary

After a series of acquisitions, Wyloo Metals – a metals and mining business based in Perth, Australia – sought to consolidate stand-alone brands (including Ring of Fire Metals and Mincor Resources) into one global brand: Wyloo. 

Among the company’s many goals for the rebrand included showcasing the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainable and environmentally-responsible mining, creating the largest pure-play nickel sulfide company outside of Russia, and demonstrating their development partnership approach with First Nation communities, including committing to Indigenous training and employment programs with employment opportunities offered on completion of training. 

The new color palette reflects the monotone nature of mined elements (nickel), vibrant landscapes and nods to former company brands. Design elements create a unique visual identity while reflecting the nature of Wyloo’s business: the crosshair motif, which represents the geographic grid pattern found on topographic maps; a compass feature which moves as you navigate the website; and maps reflecting their global locations.
